My intention with these photographs is to analyze the relationship between those who live on the streets and those who document their behaviour through photography. Specifically, how these photographs can explotit entire communites and reinforce stereotypes, by simply looking at the surface of thier lives.
There exists an ethical debate surrounding the work of these photographers due to their ability to exploit those whom they photograph. Documententry work about these margialized individuals often generates money for the phtographer, but only minimally changes the communties photographed.
